Andrew Gibson
|
President, Business Development
|
|
 |
Andrew Gibson has almost five years of experience in the
construction and management of technology demonstrator and
prototype programs. Since co-founding ESAero in 2003,
Andrew’s work experience includes design, systems
integration and testing of the AeroCopter Sarus and
Kestrel vehicles, and the corresponding technology
demonstrator. He reverse engineered the entire 747-200F
fuselage to calculate stiffness and obtain mass properties
data in support of Evergreen Aviation. He received his
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from California
Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo in 2003. |

Benjamin Schiltgen
|
Vice President of Operations
|
|
 |
Benjamin Schiltgen co-founded ES Aero in 2003 after
graduating from California Polytechnic State University at
San Luis Obibspo with a B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering.
Much of Benjamin’s work experience has revolved around
performance analysis, propulsion design, and composite
construction in support of concept development and
technology demonstrators, such as the first generation
Aerocopter. He has spent the last two years flight testing
and providing data analysis for the Quiet Technology’s
Gulfstream Hushkit certification program. This program
relies heavily on data acquisition, custom computer
programming, and performance data reduction to provide FAA
approved take-off charts. |

Trevor Foster
|
Vice
President of Technology
|
|
 |
Trevor Foster has eight years of experience in the
management of technology demonstrator testing programs.
Since helping to found ESAero in 2003, Trevor’s involvement
includes leading the design and manufacturing of
AeroCopter’s technology demonstrator, involving composite
fabrication and custom machining. Since 2002, Trevor has
solely designed, fabricated, and conducted a testing program
for a Rocket-Based Combined Cycle in efforts to better
understand its operation in a zero-Mach flight condition.
He received his B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the
California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo
in 2003 and will receive his M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering
in 2008. |

2003 upon graduating from California Polytechnic State
University at San Luis Obispo with a B.Sc. in Aerospace
Engineering. Since helping start ESAero, Jonathan has
worked alongside CEOs and lead engineers to develop and test
products across industries through the creation of tailored
analysis tools and unique computer hardware. In 2006,
Jonathan was the program manager on a cutting-edge VTOL
aircraft system for the YAS Venture Capital team as well as
being responsible for the performance data on a number of
programs for Boeing PhantomWorks in 2004. |
