“It has been a
pleasure working with Empirical Systems Aerospace and the “Rocket
Boys,” as we like to call them. They are a very hardworking young
group of individuals educated in California, cultivating a business
in California, and truly dedicated to their clients. Time and time
again we can expect Empirical Systems Aerospace to find the elusive
solution.”

NASA Regolith
Excavation Challenge
Empirical Systems Aerospace will
once again be sponsoring the NASA Regolith Excavation
Challenge hosted by the
California Space Authority. The Regolith
Excavation Challenge is designed to challenge teams from all
over the world to create an autonomous robot which can lift
300 pounds of regolith, or "moon dust", within a thirty
minute time limit. E.S.Aero will be assisting with
the power delivery system and event operations during the
competition. For more information on the competition,
please visit California Space Authority's
competition website. |

Evergreen
International Supertanker
Evergreen International has
received their Supplemental Type Certificate for their
firefighting Supertanker 747. Through SWAG Aviation,
E.S.Aero supported Evergreen's STC efforts by
developing a stiffness model for the 747-200F, allowing the
mass property data to be obtained for each fuselage station.
In addition, E.S.Aero developed methods to determine
the shear properties in the wing for varying fuel loads as
well as the mass properties at specified wing locations.
