Formed in 2003, ESAero has served the needs of the engineering industry through its work on entrepreneurial concept development, aircraft modifications, military and commercial conceptual air vehicle designs, sub-scale technology demonstrators, hybrid propulsion system research and development, and niche engineering support. ESAero has been described as an “Advanced Design Group to Advanced Design Groups”. Being located on the Oceano (CA) County Airport (L52) has allowed ESAero to expand its operations and take full advantage of available airport space for system testing and product development. With all of these capabilities, ESAero will continue to provide the engineering community with cutting-edge system designs, development, testing and demonstration solutions.

The owners of Empirical Systems Aerospace recently provided Spring Dinners to all ESAero staff and families on Easter Sunday by prepaying for their meals. In April, 2020, ESAero leadership pre-arranged payment with restaurants throughout San Luis Obispo County for curbside pickup based on geographic locations of employee residences.
ESAero has employees from Paso Robles down to Nipomo in SLO County and other employees in King City, SantaRosa, Mojave, and even in Oregon. All employee households were provided with their Sunday dinners to relieve some of the stress that COVID-19 put on these hard working essential workers. The company did this as a thank you for the employees continuing to put their hearts and souls into keeping the ESAero family strong during these unpredictable times.
